AMSPAR Programmes
As a medical administrator or receptionist you will fulfill a very important role within a health care environment. You will be part of the ‘front - line’ staff and often the first port of call for patient and relative enquiries, either by telephone or in person. You will also be involved in the electronic “Choose and Book” scheme. Secretaries and receptionists in the medical field provide the patients with a first impression of the organisation. It is, therefore, vital to have a helpful and sympathetic attitude in order to inspire confidence and dispel any fears and anxieties. These courses we deliver are designed to prepare you for liaising with all types of colleagues and medical professionals. The medical receptionist or administrator can choose to work within general practice, hospitals, clinics or private practice.
